A guest of a Temple University student fell to his death Sunday night from an off-campus apartment building, police said.

Temple Police found the body of the 21-year-old man just after midnight lying in the street below an open fifth-floor window outside the apartment building at 1825 N. 10th St., Police Spokeswoman Christine O’Brien said.

“It appears at this time that he fell from that window,” O’Brien said. “And he’s not a Temple student.”

The man was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It’s not clear if the fall was intentional or accidental. The man’s identity and origin have not yet been released, but O’Brien said “He’s not from Philly.”

In the last year two others also fell to their deaths while visiting friends in the outskirts of the North Philadelphia campus, and this is second on the same block. Landon Nuss, 19, died in September after he fell down a stairwell at the Kardon/Atlantic Apartment complex at the corner of Montgomery Avenue and North 10th Street.

Ali Fausnaught, 19, a West Chester student visiting her boyfriend at his North 18th Street house at last April’s Spring Fling, fell off the house’s rooftop, where students were partying, and plummeted to her death.
