In his exclusive op-ed with Metro, Chris Noth says it’s not the science behind climate change that is terrifying him. It’s political inaction. Pick it up this Monday, April 21st.

Metro is pleased to announce we are once again the media partner of Earth Day New York for 2014.

Be sure to pick up Monday’s special Earth Day edition, with op-eds from Chris Noth, Matthew Modine and stories on how to make New York a greener city for all. Then, attend the Earth Day celebration on Tuesday, April 22nd at Union Square from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. to partake in kids’ activities, environmental exhibits, concerts,  green product samples, and more. There will also be exhibits by Earth Day partner organizations outside of Grand Central on Wednesday, April 23 and Thursday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at East 43rd Street and Vanderbilt Avenue.

Other Earth Day activities include picking up a picnic box from ‘wichcraft during the month of April where $1 goes toward supporting Earth Day New York’s year-round programs. Or, buy a Levi’s trucker jacket made from recycled military parachutes and Levi’s will donate $250 to Earth Day New York.
