VIDEO: Boston celebrates capture of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev
The city of Boston erupted into celebration Friday night after word that a day-long manhunt finally came to an end with the capture of marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19.
The other suspect, his brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, was killed in a fire fight with police Thursday night. The suspects’ mother said Tamerlan had been under FBI surveillance.
“He (Tamerlan) was controlled by the FBI, like, for three to five years,” she said, speaking in English and using the direct English translation of a word in Russian that means monitored.
“They knew what my son was doing, they knew what sites on the Internet he was going to,” she said,
