We usually light scented candles to set the mood during a romantic dinner or a relaxing evening including bubble baths and red wine.

We tend to opt for scents such as lavender or smells that remind us of summertime on the beach.

Yankee Candle is perfect at capturing these exact scents.

The candle company is thinking outside the box and launched a new bacon-scented candle.

Yankee Candle today announced the launch of MMM,Bacon! Along with a popcorn scented Movie Night candle.

The bacon scented candle is part of the brand’s Man Candles collection. Other candles of that collection include Riding Mower, First Down and Man Town.

A few weeks ago the Massachusetts-based company created a “Boston Strong” candle to support the victims of the Boston Marathon Bombings.

The candle is a “heartwarming blend of cinnamon, baking spices, and a hint of freshly poured tea.” All proceeds went to the One Fund Boston.

“The novelty of the original Man Candles collection proved to be a huge hit with our consumers, so it was important to incorporate additional fun fragrances for this Father’s Day,” said Hope Margala Klein, executive vice president, brand innovation and merchandising for the Yankee Candle Company, Inc. “Based on the feedback from last year’s record-breaking launch, these new scents were a must-have for the collection, especially with bacon poised to be this season’s hot trend. Who doesn’t love the smell of bacon?”

Don’t say we didn’t give you ideas for what to get your dads on Father’s Day.
