VIDEO: Unruly woman forcibly removed from flight after refusing to turn off cell phone

WARNING: This video contains explicit language.

A woman on a Charlotte-bound flight fiercely struggled against two officers trying to escort her off the plane after she wouldn’t stop talking on her cell phone. According to WPLG, the pilot of US Airways flight 906 leaving from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., turned the plane around and returned to the gate, prompting officers to come aboard and escort the woman off the aircraft — and that’s when things got heated.

Cell phone video shot by a passenger shows the woman aggressively arguing with security officials even as her 2-year-old son reportedly looked on in the seat next to her. She repeatedly insists she doesn’t understand why she is being asked to leave the plane, even after it is explained to her that she wouldn’t turn off her phone.

“You shut the f— up, Botox b—,” she can be heard saying to a flight attendant.

“Ma’am, I am taking you off, are you ready?” the officer asks before attempting to handcuff her. The woman fights against two officers until a fellow passenger has to step in to help restrain her.

“Are you kidding me?” the officer asks as the woman continues to refuse to peacefully exit the plane.

A child, presumably the woman’s son, can be heard saying, “Mommy, I’m scared.”

The woman reportedly faces charges, including assault, and could also face federal charges since the incident happened aboard an aircraft. The child was returned to the care of his father.
