Embattled Floridian George Zimmerman, who dodged murder charges in the death of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin, has taken a break from his public antics to dabble in the art of Ebay.

“Everyone has been asking what I have been doing with myself. I found a creative, way to express myself, my emotions and the symbols that represent my experience. My art work allows me to reflect, providing a therapeutic outlet and allows me to remain indoors,” Zimmerman said of his artistry, which is pushing $100,000 in Ebay bids.

The “George Zimmerman original painting,” which depicts a black and blue American flag with the words “God one nation with liberty and justice for all,”  is on the auction table until Dec. 21.

The medium is unknown. According to Zimmerman, a friend donated the paint, which he believes is a “regular household latex paint. I know its not the fanciest, but it is what we had and I needed to put these visions onto the blank canvas as soon as possible.”

The 30-year-old has garnered support on Ebay, where Zimmerman has conversed with prospective buyers.

“Awesome George!!! Great painting – wish I could afford it ;) Kudos to you man! Your resilience is astonishing and inspirational!” one commenter wrote, to which Zimmerman replied, “Thank you for your continued support! I have received an overwhelming number of request for less expensive pieces and donated pieces and I am exploring options. Thanks for your patience. I am, as you know, new at this :-) Your Friend, GZ @therealgeorgez.”

Another fan pleaded with Zimmerman to graduate from art to politics.

“George, pleasee dont leave florida. You are our hero. Please run for a political office! We need you. God bless you.”
