There’s a place for sex, and it isn’t a newspaper
Re: ‘Don’t like it, don’t read it’ (Metro, June 5)
Letter writer Charles Rose’s letter verbally chastised a previous letter writer who said Metro’s sex issue was “immoral,” but Mr. Rose was as vague in his counter-opinion.
Just what is the “right” way to embrace creation and sex? Is your one-size-fits-all idea some kind of absolute?
I think Metro should keep out of the sex biz because there is too much of it in magazines, TV, etc. It contributes to sexist culture and the objectification of women and has its part in making human trafficking profitable.
We are force-fed this stuff. Let’s socially evolve.
The heading should read, “If you like it, look for it in red-light districts, not in every newspaper.”
