Letters: GMOs are a-maize-ing purveyors of nightmares
Re: ‘Take a kinder look at good ol’ GMOs’ (Metro, Sept. 16)
Letter writers Matt Brosnan and Kelton Barnsley, reiterating the simplistic view of genetically engineered organisms put out by Monsanto could/should experience firsthand, like I have, the violence attributed to making GMO foods.
GMO foods are made by inserting one gene with a needle into another gene. After eating non-GMO foods for a very long time, because I thought they were dangerous, I accidently ate some GMO corn and experienced a horrific nightmare of needles being shot into my body. Never again will I knowingly eat ANY GMOs.
