Letters: Democracy isn’t the worst time sink
Re: ‘Civic duty is a pain in the neck’ (Metro, Nov. 7)
As I read Christina Louis’ letter, I initially thought it was sarcasm, but no, she was serious.
First, no one ever told you that duties and responsibilities were going to be easy. So you had to wait in line and took valuable time from your busy day. What, 30 minutes a year? It’s called democracy. Second, give us seniors a break. Some day you may be older and unable to read everything. GET OVER IT!
