Letter: Don’t blame the cops for bad teens’ deeds
Re: ‘Not the cops’ finest hour’ (Metro, Dec. 11)
I’m tired of teenagers and young adults terrorizing our streets and using their illegally obtained firearms for their own personal “justice.” Stop the violence! End gang violence in our communities. Parents are out of touch with their teenagers and let them roam free and do not acknowledge their wrongdoings (or else they hide them).
The teenagers out there are completely out of touch with reality and how to behave like civilized humans, with their terrible attitudes, shiny guns and very bad aim.
You want to end the violence, Mr. Rustler? It starts with the teenagers in our communities, not the police. If you see something, say something — or else you’re part of the problem.
