Police are following leads in a hit-and-run collision in South Philadelphia Tuesday afternoon that left a mother and her two children injured.

The suspect was described as a woman driving a red Honda Accord with a broken mirror on its passenger side, Philly.com reported.

The three victims had non-life threatening injuries, and CBS reported Tuesday that the 30-year-old mother injured in the crash was awake, but disoriented.

Her daughter, 6, broke her leg and a 6-month-old infant sustained minor injuries, CBS reported.

An investigation into the crash at South Broad Street near Dickinson Street involves reviewing video footage, Philadelphia Police Capt. Drew Techner told CBS.

“We are very hopeful that video was recovered of the incident and that will be analyzed by the police department, hopefully leading to an arrest,” Techner said.
