Philadelphia police say a 26-year-old man man arrested in February is also behind previous gunpoint robberies in Graduate Hospital and Fairmount.

Police say that in Jan. 2015, Lukeen Gerald walked in 19-degrees Cafe on the 1800 block of Christian Street and demanded cash after pointing a gun at the cashier and demanded money.

One week later, Gerald allegedly robbed Urban Saloon on the 2100 block of Fairmount Avenue as four employees were closing up at 12:30 a.m., according to police.

Witnesses in that incident said two men came into the restaurant. One pointed a gun and menaced the employees while the other took cash from the register, police said.

Police arrested Gerald on Feb.18 for the robbery at a 7-Eleven on the 6600 block of Rising Sun Ave. He was connected to these two other robberies after his arrest.

He faces multiple charges of robbery and related offenses.
