Police locate pickup truck in AC Expressway shootout, suspects charged

New Jersey State Police have located a pickup truck that they believe was involved in a shootout on the Atlantic City Expressway Monday that left at least one person dead.

A black Dodge Ramhad been identified by witnesses as one of threevehicles in the shootout,according to state police.The “rolling shootout” took place on the expressway near Egg Harbor Township just before 3 p.m. Monday.

Passengers in abullet-riddledFord Expedition pulled into a nearby Wawawith gunshot wounds. The carwas missing a rear tire and windows, and police recovered an assault rifle and several handguns in the Ford.A Nissan Maxima was found on the side of the road, with a slain man in the passenger seat, theInquirerreported.​

Meanwhile, five people — four of whom were injured—are facing charges:Anthony Hicks, 24, of Mays Landing, who was driving the Maxima; and three occupants in the Expedition, Lenardo Caro, 24, of Egg Harbor Township; Yahshaun Stukes-Williams, 19, of Mays Landing; Shaun Stukes, 38, of Atlantic City; and a male, 16, whose name has not been released.

The three adults are also charged with employing a juvenile in a crime, according to the Inquirer.

RosemondOctavius, 22,was found dead in the passenger seatof the Maxima. It’s not clear who shot Octavius or the passengers in the Expedition.
