Talk about sticking your neck out.

Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man whose heart may have been bigger than his wallet on Monday: he’s allegedly seen on video stealing a large stuffed giraffe from a hospital gift shop.

The man allegedly snatched the large gift item from AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center’s Mainland Campus in Galloway Township, New Jersey, police said in a Facebook post. The store is owned by the volunteer group Mainland Auxiliary, and all of its proceeds go to charity, cops said, adding that the stuffed animal is priced at about $100.

Anyone who might be able to identify the suspect is asked to contact Sgt. Vincent Ceci at (609) 652-3705 x082.
