Catch hometown band Ruby the Hatchet playing its grunge- and doom-inspired plod metal. The vinyl pressing of the band’s latest album, “Valley of the Snake,” was recently offered at Urban Outfitters, and the band’s heavily attended 2015 SXSW appearance has been giving them more buzz.

Philly marks the second-to-last show of Kevin Devine’s split 7” single series, Devinyl Splits, which includes split records with Cymbals Eat Guitars and more. Perfect Pussy’s Meredith Graves, Mike Kinsella and Brian Sella also join Devine at the TLA.

Questlove returns to finish out his residency DJing at The Foundry as Questlove Supreme. His three-month stint celebrated the club’s opening, and The Roots’ drummer has made no secret of his love and support for the new venue. Expect to see him back here again.
