TMZ is reporting that Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham has been arrested and released on a $300 bond for a second degree concealed weapons charge in Miami.
In his first season as an Eagle, Bradham has 10 tackles and an interception thus far this season. This solid production came in the shadow of a previous arrest this year, in July also in Miami.
According to the TMZ report on the recent gun charge:
Officials say "it was clear that there was no criminal intent on his part" — but say they could not just cite and release Bradham since he's still out on bond stemming from a July assault case.
The Eagles released a statement after word broke of there story:
"We are aware of the report regarding Nigel Bradham. We have been in communication with Nigel and the authorities regarding the situation. As it is a pending legal matter, we have no further comment at this time."
Reports of the arrest in July allege that Bradham assaulted an employee at the Hilton Bentley South Beach. According to Bradham, 27, that indecent involved the employee hitting his girlfriend first, leading to an altercation with an umbrella.
