The Federal Bureau of Investigation is searching for a man involved in a string of bank robberies, including two in the greater Philadelphia region.
The suspect entered a First National Bank at 201 South Bellevue Avenue in Langhorne, Bucks County, around 1:40 p.m. Friday, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the teller, authorities said. He then fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Authorities believe the suspect is the same man who recently hit two banks in New Jersey: a TD Bank in Rockaway Township on Aug. 31 and a TD Bank in Gloucester Township on Sept. 6.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-3 man with a stocky build and sores on his arms and face. In Friday's robbery, he was wearing a black T-shirt, shorts, sunglasses and a black-and-white baseball hat. He had a black backpack on and wore a black glove on his left hand.
The FBI is urging anyone with information to submit tips at 215-418-4000. A reward is available for information that leads to the suspect's arrest.
