Third teen arrested in connection to Archbishop Ryan High shooting

Police have arrested a third teen in connection to the nonfatal shooting of another teenager near Archbishop Ryan High School in Northeast Philadelphia, 6ABC Philadelphia reported.

The teen arrested was identified as 18-year-old Charlie Rolon of Philadelphia, reports said. He faces several charges including criminal conspiracy and aggravated assault.

Joshua Sanchez, 19, of Gloucester, New Jersey, and Jonathan Rojas, 16, of Camden, New Jersey, were arrested over the weekend.

<p>All three are suspects in the shooting of a 17-year-old Saturday evening behind the high school after a fight broke out, <a href=CBS3 Philadelphia reported

Sanchez and Rojas were arrested shortly after the fight on the 3800 block of Elmore Place after patrolling police determined that they matched the description of the suspects.

According to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, no Archbishop Ryan students were involved in the events surrounding the shooting, and the school is cooperating with the police investigation.

All three suspects, including the 16-year-old Rojas, are being charged as adults.
