Two brazenly snatched a woman’s purse in the Gayborhood: Cops

The Philadelphia Police Department says a 51-year-old woman was the victim of a robbery in the city’s Gayborhood.

Cops said that on Tuesday, Jan. 12, around 11:54 p.m., the woman was walking south on 13th Street between Locust and Spruce streets when she was approached behind by two suspects – who then pulled her purse from her shoulder.

After snatching the purse, they ran north up 13thStreet and made a right eastward on Locust Street, the PPD added.

Authorities described the suspects as two black males, both around 20-years-old, standing 5-foot-9 and having medium builds. One suspect was wearing a green hooded jacket with black trim and white writing and theother was wearing a dark hooded jacket.
