Police are investigating the death of a woman who appears to have been killed with a hammer in North Philly, ABC Philly reported.
Investigators say that the unidentified 32-year-old woman was found dead inside a home around 4:57 p.m. Sunday on the 2500 block of North 17th Street.
NBC reported that investigators originally told them the woman was killed by a gun but later confirmed it was, in fact, a hammer.
The investigation is ongoing, and police have yet to name any suspects in the case.
