‘World Changers’ offer helping hand with PHA cleaning and repairs

More than 200 student volunteers from 10 churches across the country have descended on Philadelphia to provide volunteer clean-up service at housing projects for the next three days.

The volunteers, part of the group “World Changers,” are working atfour Philadelphia Housing Authoritysites: Wilson Park, Johnson Homes, Spring Garden Apartments and Holmecrest Homes from July 7-10.

World Changers is agroup that promotes youth mission projects among Southern Baptists and other evangelical churches, will take part in tiling, painting, landscaping, and other general maintenance work. This is the third year they have partnered with the PHA.
