At 50, Michael Jordan can still dunk

Back in the day, I was in shape and playing basketball regularly and I could dunk. Granted, I’m 6-foot-4 and probably should be able to dunk.

But then I went to college, stopped playing regularly, enjoyed my time at the cafeteria a little too much, and my jumping skills deteriorated quite quickly.

I’m not sure when Michael Jordan first dunked (supposedly it was in seventh grade, but that’s just rumors), but he’s now 50 years old and decided to prove to all of us slackers that the greatest of all time can still throw it down.

At his Flight School camp in California this weekend, he donned a pair of Air Jordans to show us he all still has hops. And he did it in jeans! Remember, he’s 6-foot-6, not some 7-footer who doesn’t need to jump.

Jordan previously showed us he could dunk at 48 and now at 50. I’m not really sure if 50 if impressive or not, to be honest. I’m only willing to be impressed if he can still dunk at 60.

This is the 10-year anniversary of Jordan’s final retirement from the Bobcats.

But just to remember how good of a dunker Jordan was in his prime, I present to you this video. Enjoy.
