Patriots head coach Bill Belichick isn’t one for social media, famously saying he knows nothing about “MyFace.”

But New York Giants president John Mara is attempting to get Belichick to take notice for a good cause. Mara took on the “Ice Bucket Challenge” that raises awareness for ALS and “challenged” Belichick, Pats owner Robert Kraft and Jets owner Woody Johnson to take the challenge next.

Belichick told WEEI radio Monday that he “plans on doing something with it.”

“I certainly know a number of people who have been affected by ALS, probably most prominently Steve Gleason, who I have known for a number of years,” Belichick told WEEI. “I’m certainly willing to support trying to find a cure for that and try to help people who have that disease. I am 100 percent behind it.”
