Joel Embiid has a certified Twitter. And he’s not afraid to use it.
A few weeks after his failed attempts to use Twitter to recruit LeBron James to join him with the 76ers, the NBA’s No. 3 overall pick set his site on Kim Kardashian.
Joel Embiid made a mess on Twitter — again.
Embiid just can’t help it. Among his other tweets, the 7-footer predicted the Spurs would repeat (followed by a Sixers NBA title), and admitted his recruiting skills targeting James had failed.
The seemingly outspoken center is likely sitting out the entirety to the 2014-15 season after foot surgery just prior to the NBA draft.
News also broke Wednesday that he had signed a contract for his first endorsement deal, with Adidas.
Embiid told his followers he was taking yet another break (the first came after the didn’t get James to come to Philadelphia). NBA fans can only hope he keeps it up, and continues to utilize social media once he suits up and starts playing.
