It’s unlikely that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has ever seen Saturday Night Live, what with all the political jokes and satire. It’s highly unlikely that he saw last April’s SNL cold open in which Rodman appears in a sketch with Bobby Moynihan, acting — of course — as Kim Jong-un (Rodman also gets the “Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night!” honors, though he fumbles it by saying “Live IN New York” … picking nits, I know.)

In the end, Rodman just couldn’t stay away from his dictator pal. He last visited Kim Jong-un in February and wasshredded by the United States media, namely George Stephanopoulos, for conversing with a man who runs prison camps. Now Rodman is back for some QT with KJU. The former NBA champion says they are going to “have a good time and maybe bridge some cultural gaps.” No word on whether the buds are actually going to shoot hoops, though it’s actuallya strong possibility that the 3-foot-6-inch guy withzero confidence issueshas a smoother strokethan the bat-bleep crazyRodman.

Adding to the ridiculousness that is Rodman and foreign relations: Just last week, Kim Jong-un’s former girlfriend, singer Hyon Song-wol, was reportedly executed after allegations came out that she made a pornographic video. Great timing.North Korea has strict laws against pornographic material, though I’m guessing Kim Jong-un has seen his fair share of Carmen Electra videos over the years.

“No really, what’s she like, Dennis?”
