What happens when nearly every member of your giant movie cast is a “child star?”

You undoubtedly run into PR problems 20 years down the road (it’s all about the royalties).

Of course, many of the child stars of the 1993 film, “The Sandlot” had to be pegged as potential 2013 problem childrenadults at the time.

If you haven’t yet heard, Tom Guiry aka Scotty Smalls, was arrested this week for headbutting a police officer after initially attempting to boot him in the face. According to TMZ, Guiry was told he was “too drunk to fly” at Bush International Airport in Houston. The report says that Guiry became belligerent when the cop gave him the option of being arrested for public intoxication or being sent to the drunk tank. He then tried to kick the cop in the face and eventually connected with an Andre the Giant-like headbutt.

Guiry posted $5,000 bail and was released, according to TMZ’s report. Click here for the priceless mug shot.

Guiry is not the only member of the cast having issues. It was announced in April that Chauncey Leopardi, aka Squints, was getting a divorce from his wife, Stefani, after 13 years of marriage. Stefani reportedly filed for divorce in March.

Poor Squints. Peaked too early with Peffercorn.

Speaking of Wendy, aka Marley Shelton, aka the woman who put every, red-blooded American 12-year-old boy through puberty in 1993 … she’s doing awesome. She landed a role on Mad Men recently as Joan’s friend, Kate. Hard to believe Peffercorn is 39-years-old now but you wouldn’t believe it looking at these.

Getting back to the negative: Yeah-Yeah aka Marty York, admitted to TMZ that he slapped his girlfriend on Easter Sunday in 2009. Said York at the time: “She got violent and started attacking me in the car… it caused me to swerve all over the road… I almost crashed and got in an accident… so I backhanded her.”

Don’t worry though. Yeah-Yeah yada-yada’d his way into several acting roles after the incident, scoring a role in the 2011 film “The Brothers Sinclair” as “Guido Calypso.” In case you missed it, “The Brothers Sinclair” was about two gay brothers who inherited their uncle’s men’s gym in New York only to find out later that all the men at the gym were straight and had mob ties.

Benny the Jet? He’s firefighter in Los Angeles. Proof you can get out of Hollywood alive, well and normal.
