VIDEO: Milan Lucic gets in fight outside Vancouver bar

Some guys just always want to prove how tough they are. Especially once they’ve gotten a few beers in them.

Bruins left wing Milan Lucic found that out the hard way on Saturday night when he went out after a game at Vancouver. Lucic, a Vancouver native, was apparently confronted by someone at an area bar who was picking a fight with him.

If you watch the video above, which comes in right at the tail end of the argument, Lucic says the guy hit him four times (after first saying three times). The police get involved and Lucic says he has witnesses to the whole incident there to back him up.

Lucic is really in a no-win situation. If he does knock the guy around he probably gets arrested, but if he tries to walk away and go to the police he looks like a wuss.

It doesn’t matter that he’s a forward, Lucic is 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds and a professional athlete. Rest assured, he can knock the crap out of some drunk bum in a bar.

Frankly, I’d love to see it.

But Lucic probably did the right thing in mostly just walking away.

One thing the drunk guy can be happy about: 6-foot-9 Bruins enforcer Zdeno Chara wasn’t at the bar with Lucic. No way the guy doesn’t leave in an ambulance if Chara is there.
