Video: Mr. T says the word ‘mother’ 73 times in WWE Hall of Fame speech

The weekend of the Final Four and WrestleMania is always challenging. Too much entertainment, not enough time.

So, in case you missed Mr. T’s Epic-with-a-capital-E WWE Hall of Fame induction speech, here’s the majority of it, above.

The speech was eventually interrupted by the wrestler “Kane,” because Mr. T went well beyond his allotted time, did not mention wrestling or WrestleMania more thanonce, but did happen to mention his “mother” (or “motha”) a whopping 73 times.

Shockingly, Mr. T dedicated the speech to his “motha.” Here are just a few of the highlights of T’s speech:

“I believe that mothers are one of God’s greatest creations. My motha, your motha, all mothas … thank God for mothas.”

“I believe the genius of God’s soul expresses his self through the body of a motha, like no otha.”

“I wanted my motha to know that I love her every day. Not just on her birthday, not just on Mother’s Day, not just on Valentine’s Day, not just on Christmas Day, but I loved her on President’s Day. On Election Day. On Labor day. Independence Day. Columbus Day. Earth Day. Memorial Day. Flag Day. Groundhogs Day. April Fools’ Day. New Year’s Day. St. Patrick’s Day. And yes, even on Father’s Day – I loved my MOTHA!”

“Thank you motha.”

“In 1984 I created a song called, ‘Treat your mother right’ …. I dedicated that song to my motha.”

Oh, really T? I would have guessed you dedicated it to your Uncle Gary.

In all seriousness, this makes all of us with mothas look bad. It’s pretty obvious that T loves his motha more than any of us do. All that we could possibly do going forward is to thank our mothas on Mother’s Day each and every year by reciting T’s speech and playing her “Treat your mother right.” It’s truly the least we could do for our mothas.
