Ice Cube has a lot of feelings about Lara Trump’s ‘Real News’ Facebook broadcasts

It’s no secret President Donald Trump hates “fake news” and he’s enlisted his family to start posting pro-Trump “real news” broadcasts via Facebook, and in case you were wondering, Ice Cube is really pissed off about it.

The videos, hosted by Trump daughter-in-law Lara Trump, Eric Trump’s wife, highlight President Trump’s accomplishments and pledge to give viewers an accurate version of news coming out of the White House that they say isn’t available in the mainstream media.

“I bet you haven’t heard about all the accomplishments the president had this week because there’s so much fake news out there, we wanted to give you a glimpse into his life,” Lara Trump starts out in the two-and-a-half minute clip.

The concept just wasn’t sitting right with rapper Ice Cube, who decided to respond to Lara Trump’s “real news” with some news of his own during a skit on Thursday’s “Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon.

“Let me guess, his ass went golfing,” the N.W.A. rapper said.

The video continues in this fashion with Lara Trump highlighting her father-in-law’s accomplishments as Ice Cube dismantles her argument.

“Again the president has donated his salary,” Lara Trump said.

“No sh—t, because he don’t (sic) want to pay his taxes,” Ice Cube, whose real name is O’Shea Jackson, said.

Lara Trump was referring to the president’s $100,000 donation to the Department of Education. What she doesn’t mention is that the donation is a mere fraction of the more than $9 billion Trump wants to cut from its budget.

“There have been almost 800,000 new jobs created in this country since Donald Trump took office,” she says. To which Ice Cube replies, “Because he keeps f—king firing people.”

He then jokingly storms off stage.

Lara Trump’s Facebook broadcasts are slated to be on a weekly schedule — no word yet on Ice Cube’s plans for rebuttal.
