The NBA announced the full schedule for the 2014 NBA Finals earlier this year. One quirk to the schedule is having a potential Game 7 on a Friday night – a move that deviates from the NBA’s typical Sunday-Tuesday-Thursday Finals format. This is also the first year a 2-2-1-1-1 format has been used since the mid-1980s.
Game 1: Thursday, June 5 at West (ABC, 9 p.m.)
Game 2: Sunday, June 8 at West (ABC, 8 p.m.)
Game 3: Tuesday, June 10 at East, (ABC, 9 p.m.)
Game 4: Thursday, June 12 at East, (ABC, 9 p.m.)
Game 5: Sunday, June 15 at West, (ABC, 8 p.m.)
Game 6: Tuesday, June 17 at East, (ABC, 9 p.m.)
Game 7: Friday, June 20 at West, (ABC, 9 p.m.)
