3 Teams that could use Randy Moss

It looks like star WR will have a new address within a few days.

1 Arizona Cardinals (3-4, 11th in waivers)

Just think of the possibilities here, with Larry Fitzgerald (35 catches, 403 yards, four TDs this season) lined up opposite Moss, and Steve Breaston (22 catches, 330 yards, one TD this season) in the slot.

Is there a secondary in the league that could truly stop that aerial attack??Breaston underneath, Moss and Fitzgerald running fly routes — someone’s getting the ball for a big gain.
Even in a terrible NFC West, the Cardinals are a few losses away from a lost season. But this move could very well put them in the playoffs.

2 New Orleans Saints (5-3, 21st in waivers)

New Orleans is riding high after a big Week 8 win over the Steelers, but they’re still locked in a tough fight for the NFC South with the Falcons and Buccaneers (both 5-2).

If there’s one thing the Saints do well on offense, it’s spread the ball around through the air. Marques Colston, Jeremy Shockey, Lance Moore, David Thomas, Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem have all caught more than 20 balls this year.

There’s no reason they couldn’t work a player as uniquely focused as Moss into that group. But is he unselfish enough?

3 Kansas City?Chiefs (5-2, 25th in waivers)

This, to our mind, is the best bet for where Moss will land.

The Chiefs’ rise — combined with the Chargers’ puzzling fall — is manna from heaven for Kansas City. They’re going to be willing to do anything necessary to sew up an unexpected playoff berth.

Moss could help. The Chiefs’ WR corps is average at best (Dwayne Bowe as a No. 1 option?), and a deep option could keep defenses from focusing on Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones.
Plus, K.C. loves New England’s castoffs.
