76ers set for camp

The Sixers opened training camp yesterday at Saint Joseph’s University. Collins had his players compete in a mile-run prior to camp. Guard Evan Turner edged out Jrue Holiday for the best overall time, finishing it in 5 minutes, 4 seconds.

Craig Brackins and Darius Songaila sat out in the morning as kinks were worked out in last week’s deal that sent Willie Green to New Orleans. Both players took part in the night session. metro
