Albert Haynesworth practices with Patriots

No conditioning test drama for the defensive lineman this year.

Albert Haynesworth is ready to play, after all.

The Patriots' newest defensive lineman made his New England practice debut this morning, ending rumors he was having trouble passing yet another conditioning test.

Haynesworth, who failed the Redskins' preseason test numerous times last season, did not practice Saturday, fueling speculation he wasn't physically ready.

"There are things we still need to do with Albert for him to be able to
get on the practice field," coach Bill Belichick said then, "and when those things are done, he'll be out
there."

They are, apparently, done.

Haynesworth was primarily an observer today, but was certainly on the field. He's expected to see some "real" action in today's afternoon session.

He's wearing his familiar No. 92 jersey.
