Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes is done for the season as the team placed the linebacker on injured reserve Monday with a knee injury.
It is the latest in a number of major injuries to the Patriots defense this season as nose tackle Vince Wilfork and fellow linebacker Jerod Mayo sustained season-ending injuries earlier this season.
