Celtics again falter in fourth quarter, lose to Grizzlies

The winless Celtics once again struggled to score down the stretch Monday night in Memphis, dropping a 95-88 game to the Grizzlies. The C's are now 0-4 on the season.

Memphis outscored Boston 29-16 in the fourth quarter, highlighted by Jerryd Bayless' corner 3-pointer with 4:18 left.

Positives for the Celtics included a strong shooting night from Jared Sullinger, who scored 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Jeff Green led the way for the Green with 22 points. Jordan Crawford also looked strong at the point.

What they'll be saying: There are broken records and then there is what the Celtics have managed to accomplish in their first four games of the 2013-14 season. For the fourth straight game, the C's were right there in the fourth quarter and for the fourth straight game their opponent out-executed them in the final minutes.
