Celtics blown out in Oklahoma City

Playing without Courtney Lee, who was reportedly traded to Memphis for guard Jerryd Bayless earlier in the day, the Celtics were blown out by the Thunder, 119-96, Sunday night in Oklahoma City. It was the fourth straight loss for the C's and they have now lost seven of their last eight.

The visitors were never in this one as they trailed by eight after one and by 10 at the half. Jeff Green and Avery Bradley led the way in the loss with 19 points apiece, while Kris Humphries had 14 off the bench.

Reggie Jackson scored a game-high 27 points for the Thunder and former Celtic Kendrick Perkins recorded a season-high 12 points.

The Celtics will now take on the Nuggets in Denver Tuesday (9 p.m., CSNNE).

What they'll be saying: Sunday was the first game of a tough stretch for the Celtics as they still have four games left to play on their tour of the Western Conference. It was a poor defensive effort for Boston as it allowed the Thunder to shoot 52 percent from the field, including 9-of-19 from 3-point range.
