Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge is not shy about pulling the trigger at the NBA trade deadline. In fact, in seven of his first 10 years as Celtics boss, Ainge swung a deal in the four weeks leading up to deadline day. One could say he’s already eight for 11, but we’ll exclude the Joel Anthony/draft pick for Jordan Crawford/MarShon Brooks deal that was made on Jan. 15 of this year for the sake of nothing.

Here is a look at what Ainge has done at or around the trade deadline in years past (according to HoopsHype.com):

2009: Traded cash to the Sacramento Kings for a protected 2014 second-round pick and traded center Patrick O’Bryant to the Toronto Raptors; Traded guard Sam Cassell and cash to the Sacramento Kings for a 2015 conditional second-round pick.
