DeMarco Murray is being paid $18 million in guaranteed money as part ofhis $40 million, five-year contract.

In Sunday night's game against the Cardinals, through halftime, the running back had taken just two snaps, both of them saw him used as adecoy.

Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles split nine carries, including a one-yard loss on a key fourth-and-one in the red zone that Mathews ran up the gut.

Murray, known as a big downhill running back, was snubbed for the carry, and has yet to post any offensive stats as the Eagles trail the Cardinals 17-10 at halftime.

Murray was not on any pre-game injury list, nor did Chip Kelly insinuate he would be benched, or passed over for carries.
