DeMarco Murray is being paid $18 million in guaranteed money as part of his $40 million, five-year contract.

In Sunday night's game against the Cardinals, through halftime, the running back had taken just two snaps, both of them saw him used as a decoy.

Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles split nine carries, including a one-yard loss on a key fourth-and-one in the red zone that Mathews ran up the gut.

Murray, known as a big downhill running back, was snubbed for the carry, and has yet to post any offensive stats as the Eagles trail the Cardinals 17-10 at halftime.

Murray was not on any pre-game injury list, nor did Chip Kelly insinuate he would be benched, or passed over for carries.
