With so much uncertainty amid the Eagles situation with their Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson, one thing seems consistent no matter where you look.

He is as good as gone.

The star is due $10.25 million this season, and reports have said that Jackson refuses to renegotiate with the Eagles.

The team is seeking a third-round pick at the very least for the wideout, but it is also possible they shed his salary, and his baggage by cutting him outright.

With so much firepower in the Eagles offensive attack, Jackson would be the top weapon, lining up with Jeremy Maclin, Riley Cooper, Zach Ertz and Darren Sproles among others.

But Eagles fans will probably never get the chance to see how good that offense will be, with a source close to Jackson saying he is “as good as gone.”

NFL Network reported last week that the Jets, Panthers and Raiders each made inquiries.

Last week, Eagles head coach Chip Kelly made jokes about the whole situation.

“He’s a priority at receiver, before Maclin, behind Cooper, or is it Cooper before Maclin, or Maclin before Cooper?” Kelly said. “So I’ll check what you write, and I’ll tell you how we feel about it.”
