LeSean McCoy is referred to as “Gaga” by quite a few of his rivals on the New York Giants. That didn’t stop the Pro Bowl back from teaming up with Jason Pierre-Paul in a new business endeavor.
McCoy and Pierre-Paul, along with Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, have joined forces to promote BODYARMOR SuperDrink. All three stars are listed as partners and investors. The executives in charge of BODYARMOR are Mike Repole, the brain behind vitaminwater (before it was sold to Coca-Cola) and Lance Collins, who created FUSE and Nos before they were sold to Coca-Cola.
As partners and investors, McCoy’s talents will be utilized in national and regional events, charitable endeavors, product testing and more, according to a press release.
“Many of my teammates and players in the league are big believers in the BODYARMOR brand,” said McCoy. “I compete hard on the field and drink BODYARMOR because it gives me the nutrition and hydration I need to gain that extra yard. There is nothing else like it.”
BODYARMOR features six different flavors: Acai Blueberry Pomegranate, Raspberry Blueberry Goji, Strawberry Banana Guava, Cherry Citrus, Orange Mango and Tropical Citrus.
On a personal note, I have sampled the Strawberry Banana Guava … and fully endorse it. It’s very tasty, like a nutritious mash-up of Gatorade and something you might order at Smoothie King.
