Another bombshell from Howie Roseman and company as it was revealed by Adam Schefter that the Chip Kelly house-cleaning continued Monday evening as the Eagles agreedto trade DeMarco Murray, their high-priced running back to the Titans.

It was reported that Murray’s agent confirmed the trade had been finalized and that the Eagles will absorb $4 million in cap money while transferring $4 million to Tennessee. The back has agreed to restructure his contract, reports also suggest.

The Eagles still have two running backs under contract in Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles.

The deal comes just hours after the revelation that the Birds had agreed to trade Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell to the Dolphins.

The pair of moves shows the Eagles’ eagerness to move on from the Chip Kelly era, even by putting his biggest offseason acquisitions in the rearview.

It is unclear what the return for Murray will be, but sources imply that in the Dolphins deal the teams will swap first rounders and a few other picks will be involves.

The Eagles are sure to be key players in free agency starting Wednesday at 4 p.m. That is also when both of these deals can be finalized.
