Mike Napoli is finally a Boston Red Sox as he will sign a one-year, $5 million deal with the club.
The deal is reportedly laced with incentives as Napoli can boost his salary back up to the $13 million he originally agreed to with the Red Sox, if he can stay healthy.
Napoli originally agreed to a $39 million deal over three years but the deal was nixed when the first baseman/catcher failed a physical because of a hip condition.
