The Snoopy Trophy is  back on One Jets Drive and with this [somewhat] emphatic win over the New York Giants, some players made a serious case to be on the New York Jets roster come Week 1.

There is still one game left, the midweek specialty against the Philadelphia Eagles, but some players stood out and did a nice enough job to move up the pecking order.

And some didn't.

Whose Stock Is Up

Walter Powell - Lost a bit in the roster shuffle is the way Powell has performed in training camp. He's not the most dynamic wide receiver but he has tremendous speed and that was on display in the third quarter when he had a 54-yard punt return for a touchdown. Powell needs to work on being a better route-runner but he might bring something on special teams.

Chris Owusu - Another wide receiver pushed down the depth chart a bit, Owusu's first preseason game (he was out the first two with a concussion) was solid. He had two long kickoff returns and most importantly emerged healthy. He could make a big move now for the roster. He has had a great training camp and seems to be building on that.

Rontez Miles - He had a nice day in run support, not surprising since he's a big thumper and hits hard. Still isn't comfortable in passing situations but improving. He's a lock to make the practice squad in the worst case scenario but he continues to show greater comfort on the two-deep.

Whose Stock is Down

Jamari Lattimore - Took the wrong assignment on a Ryan Nassib long run in the third quarter, Lattimore also had a slight knock to the knee earlier in the game. He should make the roster but from Saturday night's performance there isn't too much good tape from this game. Then he got beat over the top in the fourth quarter on a Nassib throw to tight end Jerome Cunningham and then a couple plays later on a touchdown pass to Cunningham again.

Oday Aboushi - He had a bad holding call in the fourth quarter to go along with the news last week of a one-game suspension for an arrest in January when marijuana was found in his car. Aboushi might not be on this roster much longer.
