Let the Jacoby Ellsbury worship begin

Another day, another game-winning hit.

Jacoby Ellsbury was already in the middle of one of the best seasons in modern history.

Now, he's apparently decided to start winning games all by himself.

Ellsbury hit a walkoff home run to beat the Indians last night at Fenway Park. It was his second game-winning hit in as many games.

“I realized it was the ninth inning and I had been 0-for-4 both games. I’m
just trying to get on base,” Ellsbury told reporters. "The last two days have been pretty
good.”

We'll say. Especially after last year's injury-plagued debacle.

The only negative for the Sox? Tim Wakefield was denied his 200th career victory, despite a strong start. He'll get another chance next week.
