MLB to expand postseason?

Baseball players are open to adding more wild card teams in 2012, according to new Union head Michael Weiner.

They are also floating around the idea of extending the division series to best-of-seven and shortening the 162-game regular season.

Commissioner Bud Selig also appears to be in favor of adding more playoff teams, according to ESPN.
