The Eagles don’t have a first round draft pick in 2017.
But, the eyes of the football world will be on Philadelphia when draft time comes next April, as the event leaves Chicago after two straight offseasons and moves to Philly.
Adam Schefter broke the news Wednesday, confirming months of spectulation.
Back in April, ESPN reported Philly was the leading contender to host the 2017 draft. On Thursday, it will become official. Philly, 2017.

The venue is likely to be the Wells Fargo Center, though many NFL-related events will undoubtedly pop up throughout the city.
Prior to the 2015 and 2016 drafts, the event was held in New York.
