Patriots road to the Super Bowl

The NFL lockout is now in its sixth week. But that didn’t stop the league from releasing a full slate of games for the 2011 season.

The season starts Sept. 8 when the Green Bay Packers host the New Orleans Saints in a nationally-televised game on NBC at 8:30 p.m. The Patriots open on Monday Night Football (Sept. 12) in Miami.

New England will face eight opponents that finished .500 or better last year, including road games in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and New York. The team boasts four prime-time games, highlighted by a Sunday night game versus the Colts in Foxborough.

On the labor dispute front, the NFL and its players met yesterday for seven hours. The two sides will meet again today.
