The Rangers beat the Penguins 4-2 Saturday afternoon, in game 2 of a first-round series.
The two teams are now tied with one game each in a best-of-seven contest, according to the New York Post. The Ranger’s Chris Kreider scored 39 seconds into the third period to cement the team’s 4-1 lead, and despite a last minute power-play by the Penguins’ Phil Kessel, the team couldn’t hack it. Both teams will be in New York Tuesday for game 3 of the series.
