Seriously? Error flips BCS teams

A data error resulted in Boise State and LSU being flipped in the final regular-season BCS standings, according to a CBSsports.com report yesterday.

One of the computer rankings that ultimately led to LSU being ranked 10th and Boise coming in 11th was missing the result of a game between Appalachian State and Western Illinois. When the result of the FCS game was correctly factored in, the Broncos got enough of a mathematical boost to leapfrog the Tigers.
